Kettlebell workouts are a great way to get strong in a real manly way. Some people like to just workout their main cosmetic muscles so they can look good on the beach. That’s all fine and well but you are missing out on some serious strength and endurance that a kettlebell offers you. Kettlebell workouts are all about swinging around a heavy cannonball. This forces your legs and core to constantly be in action to keep that thing moving. This hits all kinds of small hard to hit muscle groups that are typically hard to really strengthen. It is important to work those core muscles to prevent future injury and to add overall toughness. Kettlebell workouts are so punishing to the core and lower body you will really feel great after a session. It gives you that dull ache that feels like victory. You will feel invincible and probably compare yourself to Bruce Lee. That is fine it is all part of the fun of really working out.

If you want to really work out and be strong then you aren’t interested in easy and quick workouts to get fit. You are on a quest to push your body so that it begs you to stop. You want to be useless after a workout, and then you want to go in there the next day and do it with more intensity. It will become self rewarding in no time at all. The first time you really decide to push yourself you might be caught a little off guard by how much your body can actually withstand. It’s important to get familiar with these boundaries so that you can test them in every workout session. If you are new to the idea of really working out hard with high intensity then I recommend a beginner kettlebell workout.
