I feel confident today that’s why I decided to root my phone at my own risk. Did I successfully root it? Check it out.
When I woke up this morning I checked my website for latest comments as I always do. One of my readers commented that the P500 touch screen lag has already been fixed in xda-developers forum. I did some reading about it on the forum and everyone seems happy about the outcome of the fix. It involves kernel flashing and I didn’t understand the rest haha. I consider myself a newbie in this area.
Before I can apply the fix I will need to root my phone, nice! I’m starting to get nervous already. If I make a mistake my phone will be fried and probably I will cry LOLs. I love games on my phone and it s@cks that it lags when playing games using the touch screen so I was convinced that this will be a good reason for me to root my phone.
Tan dan dan dan ….
I used Z4root to root my phone. It is basically a one click root app and after a reboot, your phone will be rooted. I followed these instructions from this link “Rooting your LG optimus One p500 in one click”.

Now the question is, was I successful in rooting my phone? The answer is YES!
OK, I am happy that my phone is still working. What’s next? It’s time for me to do some reading again!
