Alright this is officially my first post for this year But I plan to publish articles here atleast once a week, I hope I can do that. Here’s a post for this week.
There’s a pinoy made app in android market introduced to me by my friend RC in his blog, it’s called Pinoy Henyo. Well I don’t have to explain what’s this game is all about. If you are watching EatBulaga and you are pinoy then you know this. This is tagged as pambansang laro by someone I don’t know, who cares as long as it is fun right?
The app is very basic, it displays words in category of tao, hayop, bagay and lugar. We tried it and it’s really fun to play with. Even at parties this can be a big help for bored guests.
Good app and thanks to kaizenbrew for making this brilliant app for android. But how about for IOS? Can someone develop pinoy henyo app for iphone/ipad as well? pinoy henyo in android market is more than 100 thousand downloads already and counting. I bet there are people who has IOS devices who wants this as well. I want to develop it myself (as if I know what I am doing.. duh?) but the SDK for ios is not free so sorry guys.
All we could do now is wait. If you want to play pinoy henyo now but you don’t have an android device just contact me I will be glad to swap my Samsung galaxy Y for your iphone -joke lang
Hi fans. lolz! Sorry I was not able to update this blog for a while now it’s because I have other important things to do like playing xbox.
I honestly don’t know what to do with this site last year. I tried to accept guest post and it didn’t go well. I thought it is a good idea since someone is writing articles for me but it turns out that those articles were only for backlinking. They did not even ranked in Google. But in all fairness I think out of 100 guest posts 3 has given me traffic so far haha! Guest posting is useless unless it is your friend writing them. Most of my guest posts are spun articles, bad for search engines.
For this year, what I plan to do is to use this blog to post jokes, funny videos and personal experiences. More of like my personal blog and opinions. No worries I will still post monthly cover photos from FHM Philippines pampainit ba, hehe. I have created a facebook page too, you can like us if you want walang pilitan, as of today ako pa lang naglalike see below for the link.
I won’t be targeting more keywords here for traffic, chill lang, STD lang. I will write what I want to write, you might like it or maybe not bahala na.
Yun lang!
I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Happy new year to y’all!
I’ve always wanted to sketch that’s why my wife bought me my first sketchpad 3 months ago and until now I haven’t done any decent drawings yet aside from a simple stickman. Then I found the channel of kubausks in youtube who invented a capacitive stylus made of glass tint and pen and using it on his Ipad. So I thought of taking my “drawing skill” to the next level by making my own kubausks style capacitive stylus and use it on my android tab. But until now I haven’t found a spare car glass tint yet. I tried looking for a capacitive stylus in the net but they are a bit pricey for me. Anyone there has a spare glass tint?
Here’s the video from kubausks channel, this is the best DIY capacitive stylus I’ve seen yet.

You can now become a walking wifi hotspot with the new sun cellular’s mifi by Huawei. The Sunbroadband pocket wifi can be used right after you install the application software but you wouldn’t want everyone to be able to connect to it. Here’s the step by step guide on how to install your Huawei E5 wireless modem.
Connect your E5 via USB and install application, after the installation you should be able to see the following screen
Go to Tools > Options
Setup APN to fbband
Click OK and Connect using Sun Broadband Standard.
Open your browser and go to http://192.168.1.1/
Login as: admin
Default Password: admin
You will be redirected to your control panel. You can setup using the Quick Setup wizard but this did not work for me so I did use the Advance settings. Try the quick setup first if you want.
On the Advance settings Tab go to System > Modify Password
On the Current password enter “admin”, input and confirm your new password then click modify.
The setting will be updated and when you login to your administration panel, use the current password. This is important because if you don’t change your password anyone who knows what they are doing can login to your control panel and mess around with your settings.
Next, Go to Advanced Settings > Dial-up Settings > Profile Setting
Select Sun Broadband Standard as default and Save
From the Connection Settings (Advanced Settings > Dial-up Settings > Connection Setting) see to it that the selected profile list is Sun Broadband Standard
Click Apply and wait for 3 seconds then refresh.
Go to WLAN Settings then Enable WLAN if it’s not yet enabled. Click WLAN Basic Settings
On the Basic Settings Tab set your SSID name (Anything you like)
Then Apply. You will be disconnected because you changed your SSID. Refresh wireless connections and connect to your new Name(SSID). You will be able to connect without a password yet. You can setup the passkey using the next step.
Go to WLAN Advanced Settings and set your encryption passkey. This passkey will be asked when someone tries to connect to your wifi. I used the following authentication.
After this Click apply and then you’re done.

You can install your android apps in SD by using android SDK, connect it to your phone and yada yada whatever yaya… tired of reading these instructions?
Did you know that there’s an easier way? You can do it by installing only an app.
If you have an android phone that doesn’t have a huge internal memory like mine there will come a time that you will have to uninstall some of your beloved applications to make space for a new application. It hurts more if you’ve paid for that app.
Android 2.2 or Froyo supports installing apps to SD card but not all of them. Funny thing is that most large apps cannot be moved to SD. This is no longer a problem for froyo users.
First things first, you need to root your phone. Rooting your phone is as easy as one click, read this article. After you have rooted your phone, install move2sd app, search for move2sd in the android market or scan this QR code to take you directly to move2sd download page.
Install move2sd app. Enable USB debugging. Go to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging
Enable move2sd app and click next.
And viola! All your applications will now be installed in your SD Card.
Important Note: Don’t install widgets and other service apps to you SD, it will have problems if you restart or unmount your SD.
Nothing beats SLR in photography but for dudes and dudettes who are into photography as well, but don’t own an SLR yet you can use your phone camera too. It’s not as good as SLR, but you can start learning with what you have. “Just keep practicing on whatever you can get your hands on and you will get better.” <- I know I heard that line from somewhere I just don’t remember where exactly haha!
I also want to buy a DSLR but it’s not my priority at this time. For now I’m going to stick with my cellphone camera and for guys like me I will tell you some of the applications I use and post some of my photos. You are welcome to put a link of your own cellphone photos in the comment section.
I use two apps Vignette and FxCamera. Both are basically the same but they process photos differently. What I like about FxCamera is the toycam effect, this effect is better than the equivalent effect on the Vignette. On the other hand Vignette have so many filters to choose from unlike FxCamera which is limited.
Here are my sample shots on both apps. Let me know what you think, I’m no pro guys so please be kind.
Happy new year everyone!
I wrote about NFS shift for android last month and I got a couple of hits from Google search looking for Dungeon Hunter on LG Optimus One. I will show you Dungeon Hunter gameplay on LG P500 in a while; first let me give a brief description for those of you who have no idea about it yet.
Dungeon Hunter is an action adventure RPG game developed by Gameloft for iphone, ipad, android and other mobile devices. It’s similar to Diablo, kill to gain experience, level up, learn new skills and spells. You can choose from three characters namely, Rogue (my favorite), Knight, and Mage. Gain more experience by completing quests in each level. You can also unlock fairies along the way which will accompany you in your quests. Each fairy has a different personality and elemental power to help you. If you are into this genre then you will love Dungeon Hunter as much as I do.
Though I completed the game in four days, I enjoyed every level playing it. I still have two characters to play when boredom comes. Here’s the Dungeon Hunter game play I did on the LG Optimus One.
To install this game you should have 12MB extra space on your phone and 130MB on your SD card. I installed version 3.1.1 on my phone, space requirements may vary depending on what version you are installing. If you are having trouble installing the SDCard files just download it to your PC and dump it to /sdcard/gameloft/games/Dungeonhunter. Remember to buy the game and support more cool games like this in the future
Dungeon Hunter 2 is already out on the Iphone and Ipad. When can we expect this for Android phones Gameloft?
I have a friend flooding her Facebook wall with SNSD videos that sometimes I want to flag them as spam, but fortunately I love SNSD too! LOLS!
I don’t know why I like watching them specially Yuri. Maybe my perverted mind said so? Looks and cuteness really does count, I don’t even understand what they are singing but the heck with it! Hahah!
If you are looking for SNSD girls generation videos there are so many of them in YouTube. I downloaded the ones I like using free youtube downloader and transferred it to my phone. I can watch them anytime and anywhere I want without buffering.
I am also looking for SNSD HD videos to download. If you know or found some sites where to download free girls generation videos please leave a comment here, I want it bad! hehe
Have a good long weekend everyone!
I was never a fan of super expensive gadgets, not that I don’t like them but I can’t afford them. (Have you noticed the bitterness in there?) Haha!
Seriously though, I don’t see myself buying a P40,000 phone. I always compare other things I could buy with that amount of money. I can buy an extra-awesome net book for that.
No matter how cool the latest cellphone is, I’m not buying it unless it’s under 15K. That’s just me though, don’t hate me for that. Give me 40,000 pesos and I’ll get an Iphone 4 or Galaxy S!
Four years ago, I bought my first “below 15K” smart phone, my SE P990i. I convinced myself that it’s about time for me to buy a new smart phone. I went to look for a cheap android phone in the market.
While Googling what phone to buy, my girlfriend sent me a link of LG optimus one 50% OFF sale. I was excited that I can buy an android phone for P6,495. I did some digging and I found out that the news was spreading already over the net. I instantly knew that I don’t have a chance of owning a discounted LG Optimus one. Anyway, I still went to SM Megamall not expecting to get a 50% slash off the regular price just to check out the sale, here’s what I saw:
Rumors has it that approximately 30-40 phones only were sold that day.
I knew that was going to happen so I did not wait in line. Instead I bought my Optimus one after the promo on regular price. After all it is still on my budget, for P13,000 I get Froyo, Resistive LCD, GPS navigation, Wifi, Android market, and more! For me the price was still worth it. I will upload some reviews soon for those of you who are also looking for a cheap android phone.
